Let me just start by saying that the ‘all inclusive’ concept was not something we had ever tried out in the Bailey household. So when an opportunity to visit ClubMed property Opio en Provence came up, I jumped at the chance to see what the buzz was all about!

I have to say – the visit completely changed my mind and opened up the possibilities and advantages of an all-inclusive family holiday. Here are my top 6 reasons to visit ClubMed Opio en Provence…

Nature and the countryside – I love that you can walk on the trails around the gardens and olive groves of ClubMed Opio. Their location in Provence is stunning with views of little towns tucked away in the hillsides that you can see from the comfort of your room. A special mention – the olive groves are beautiful, peaceful and make a great event venue for cocktail parties

Cirque du Soleil – This ClubMed resort has collaborated with Cirque du Soleil to create a brand new play and fun zone called Creactive with activities such as flying trapeze and acrobatic stunts. Guests, both adults and children can experience this under the supervision of trained staff.

Food and Beverage – This should probably be top of the list! The variety and freshness of the food is outstanding. Chefs constantly put on the best of world cuisines at each meal, serving carefully curated menus. It’s a good thing that you can get active while you’re staying here! The kitchens use fresh olive oil, pressed from the olives grown in the property around the resort.

Learn a new sport – With such a large property, the sheer range of activities is mind-boggling. Learn tennis, golf or archery with ClubMed GOs (Gentil Organisers)…and it’s included in the package price!!

Or if you feel like it, you can try your hand at Petanque Bocce Ball or Volleyball.

Kids clubs and activities – It’s great when you’re on a family holiday and your children are kept busy in a fun, safe environment. That’s just what this resort has perfected – the art of keeping children active and learning as well…whether its French songs, dance, sport, cooking classes and even gymnastics with the Cirque du Soleil team.

Theatre and entertainment – Your evenings here are filled with theatre performances, parties and there’s even a night club that stays open late for adults. And it’s all included in the package as well! What’s not to love about that!!
